Durex Orgasmic Gel Intense 10ml

Durex Orgasmic Gel Intense is a topically applied intimate gel that belongs to the category of personal lubricants and sensory enhancement products, formulated specifically for external use during intimate moments. Its active ingredient is L-Arginine, an amino acid that works at a surface level to support increased sensitivity when applied to the skin. Like any topical product, some users may experience mild skin irritation, a tingling or warming sensation, localised redness, or in rare cases, an allergic reaction — so it is always a good idea to do a small patch test before full use.

If you are someone with sensitive skin, known allergies to cosmetic ingredients, or are currently using other topical products in the same area, this is something you will want to keep in mind before trying it. Rest assured, this gel is a well-recognised product from a trusted global brand, and understanding how to use it correctly will help you get the most out of it safely.

A small, pea-sized amount (approximately 1–2 pumps or a fingertip application, depending on the packaging format) is generally recommended per use, applied directly to the external intimate skin area. It is advisable not to exceed the amount suggested on the product label, as using more than directed does not necessarily enhance the effect and may increase the likelihood of skin sensitivity.

While Durex Orgasmic Gel Intense is generally well-tolerated by most users, some individuals may experience reactions — particularly those with sensitive skin or ingredient sensitivities. Below are the possible side effects to be aware of:

Common Side Effects:

• Mild tingling or warming sensation at the site of application (this is often expected with this type of product)
• Localised skin redness or flushing
• Mild itching or irritation at the application site
• Temporary dryness or tightness of the skin after use

Less Common Side Effects:

• Persistent burning sensation that does not subside after a short period
• Swelling or puffiness around the area of application
• Skin rash or hives (urticaria) in individuals with ingredient sensitivities
• Contact dermatitis in users with known sensitivities to cosmetic formulations

Rare but Important:

• Allergic reaction (hypersensitivity) — symptoms may include intense itching, significant swelling, or difficulty tolerating the product on the skin
• Mucosal irritation if accidental internal contact occurs

Store Durex Orgasmic Gel Intense in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat, ideally at room temperature (below 25°C). Keep the cap tightly closed after each use to prevent contamination and maintain product quality. This product should be kept out of reach of children and should not be stored in humid environments such as bathrooms for extended periods, as moisture and heat can affect the formulation.

• Always perform a patch test on a small area of skin at least 24 hours before full application, especially if you have sensitive or reactive skin.
• Use only the recommended amount — more product does not mean a stronger or better result, and overuse may increase irritation risk.
• Check the expiry date on the packaging before every use — never use an expired product.
• Store the product properly in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and heat to preserve its formulation integrity.
• Keep the cap tightly sealed after each use to prevent contamination and maintain hygiene.
• Do not share this product with others to maintain personal hygiene standards.
• Discontinue use immediately if you experience persistent burning, swelling, or any allergic reaction, and seek advice from a pharmacist or doctor.
• Check condom compatibility before using this gel alongside latex-based contraceptives.
• Keep out of reach of children — store in a secure location at all times.
• Purchase from a verified and authorised pharmacy to ensure you receive an authentic, properly stored product.

Durex Orgasmic Gel Intense is applied externally to the intimate area of the skin — it is not intended for internal use or ingestion. A small amount should be gently massaged onto the desired area prior to or during intimate activity, allowing a few moments for the skin to respond to the formulation. Always follow the directions printed on the product packaging, and discontinue use immediately if you notice any discomfort, irritation, or unusual skin reaction.

Durex Orgasmic Gel Intense typically carries a shelf life of 3 years from the date of manufacture when stored under appropriate conditions. Always check the expiry date printed on the packaging before use, and do not use the product beyond its stated expiration date, as the formulation's integrity and safety may be compromised after this period.

Active Ingredient: L-Arginine, an amino acid that serves as the primary active component in the formulation to support topical sensory response. The formulation may also contain supporting and excipient ingredients such as Aqua (Water), Glycerin, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Lactic Acid, Sodium Hydroxide, and preservatives such as Sodium Benzoate. Please note that the complete ingredient list may vary slightly depending on the formulation version, product batch, or availability in Singapore. Always refer to the product packaging for the most accurate and up-to-date ingredient information.

• Individuals with active skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, or open wounds in the application area
• Persons with a history of contact dermatitis related to cosmetic or topical intimate products
• Not intended for internal use — should not be applied to mucous membranes unless specifically directed by the product label

• Children and adolescents — this product is intended for adult use only
• Individuals with active genital infections or inflammation should seek medical advice before using any topical intimate product

As a topically applied intimate gel, Durex Orgasmic Gel Intense has a low systemic absorption profile, meaning it is unlikely to interact with medications taken orally or foods consumed. However, the following points are worth noting for responsible and informed use:

• Latex condoms: L-Arginine-based gels and certain formulations may potentially affect the integrity of latex condoms. Always check product compatibility before use with latex-based contraceptives. Durex recommends checking the label for condom compatibility guidance.
• Other topical medications: Using this gel simultaneously with other topically applied medications or creams in the same area may alter absorption or cause unexpected skin reactions. Consult a pharmacist if you are using any prescribed topical treatments.
• Antiherpetic or antifungal topical treatments: Concurrent use with prescription topical treatments in the intimate area is not recommended without professional guidance.
• No known significant food interactions have been documented for this topically applied product.
